I have seen a few individuals that own V8s install Throttle Body Spacers on their plenums and swear by them (and some say they're junk). TBS manufacturers claim that installing this spacer between the plenum and the throttle body increases the plenum volume which increases low end torque, and the ones with helical grooves are supposed to "atomize" the fuel mixture. I for one believe that this is just a gimmick, but if these actually work like the manufacturers claim, why aren't they a popular upgrade for Z? Any ideas?
